Logbook + Scratchpad

Why is this blog a “logbook”? Why a “scratchpad”? And why on the Fediverse?

I like having a place where I collect notes on my learnings and my doings: this is the Logbook part.

I like having a place where to keep unfinished ideas and clippings, to draw upon at a later time or to scratch completely: this is the Scratchpad part.

Also, I like experimenting: this is why I am using a relatively new platform (WriteFreely), and why the blog is federated.

Most importantly, I like the idea of learning in public: this is why this blog is public in the first place.
